New length-adjustable clamps and carrier tools from SIMTEK

At AMB in Stuttgart, precision tool manufacturer SIMTEK is presenting a new range of adjustable-length clamping holders. This includes the simturn DX clamp holders with unique length adjustability and an innovative ME clamping principle, the simturn PX carrier tool solution for internal machining and the simturn AX range for boring holes.

With the introduction of a new range of adjustable-length clamping holders and support tools, SIMTEK is underlining its commitment to continuously developing innovative products that meet the requirements of modern manufacturing while increasing flexibility and cost efficiency. The specially developed and patented ME clamping principle ensures maximum stability and precision in machining.

Securely clamped to full length

These versatile simturn DX clamp holders offer an outstanding solution for internal machining in the truest sense of the word. They can be precisely and continuously adjusted in length and, according to SIMTEK, are particularly suitable for use in small series production. Thanks to their unique length adjustability, they can be flexibly adapted to the machining of a wide variety of components. Available in sizes D07 (lengths from 20.0 mm - 55.0 mm), D10 (lengths from 31.0 mm - 87.5 mm) and D14 (lengths from 42.0 mm - 124.0 mm), these holders cover lengths from 20.0 mm to 124.0 mm. SIMTEK's innovative ME clamping principle guarantees maximum stability and precision so that they can be conveniently adapted to the respective requirements. "With the new clamping holders, we can significantly reduce the need for our users to purchase new tools at the start of a new component series," emphasizes SIMTEK CEO Norbert Seifermann.

Internal machining from Ø 10.5 mm

To meet the specific requirements of internal machining even better, length-adjustable simturn PX carrier tool solutions are now available. These tools are particularly suitable for the precise boring of holes from a diameter of Ø 10.5 mm and, with a three-edged tool system, offer an optimum combination of cost efficiency, stability and flexibility. "The ability to react quickly and cost-effectively to new requirements in metalworking is becoming increasingly important. With the new length-adjustable tools, we can offer precisely this agility," explains Norbert Seifermann.

Variable unscrewing clamp holders

The variable tools from SIMTEK, which can be flexibly adjusted in length, offer a wide range of possibilities in machining technology. Within the simturn AX product group, the Mössingen-based tool specialist is also launching a length-adjustable solution for boring holes from Ø 47 mm. Thanks to the ME clamping principle, the usable length of the cutting inserts can be continuously and precisely adapted to the respective requirements, which significantly increases efficiency and productivity in production.
